ForaCare IR20b Thermometer Mobile App for iOS and Android
The FORA® IR20b Ear Thermometer is designed for infrared temperature measurement, providing readings from the ear in seconds. With Bluetooth connectivity, temperature data can be automatically transferred to the MedM Health Diary app for iOS and Android to be stored, tracked, and analyzed over time. Data can also be securely backed up in MedM Health Cloud for long-term access and remote monitoring.
The thermometer features a compact, ergonomic design and an easy-to-read display for convenient use. It supports fever indicators to assist in identifying elevated temperatures.
Within the MedM Health Diary app, temperature readings can be logged alongside other health metrics, and users can add notes for context. All data stored in MedM Health Cloud is encrypted and protected from unauthorized access. The app also supports setting reminders for regular temperature checks.
MedM Premium Membership includes additional features such as synchronization with Apple Health and Google Health Connect, secure health data sharing with trusted users, and custom alerts for readings that exceed set thresholds.

How to Connect ForaCare IR20b Thermometer with MedM App
- Open the app menu -> select My Devices -> tap Add Device
- Press and hold both buttons on the Fora IR20 thermometer to turn on Bluetooth, wait for the blue indicator to start flashing and the letters PCL to appear on the display
- Once the app discoveres the Fora IR20 unit - select it, configure device settings, and tap Add to My Devices
- Upon successful pairing a corresponding popup will appear
- The paired Fora IR20 thermometer will be listed on the My Devices screen
- Make a measurement on the Fora IR20 temperature meter to collect new data in the app
Please note that the app has to be running in foreground or background (configurable in settings) to receive new readings from the Fora IR20.
