ForaCare TNG Mobile App for iOS and Android
The TN’G Blood Glucose Monitoring System by ForaCare Inc. is USB-rechargeable, has Bluetooth wireless connectivity and LCD backlight. The meter is both FDA and CE-approved, and integrated with the MedM Health Diary app for iOS and Android. Readings can be automatically captured from the TN’G device and saved to the user's smartphone or tablet and, optionally, backed up to MedM Health Cloud. Fora TN’G users can track their blood sugar levels directly on their smartphone or a computer screen. Results can also be exported as a file and shared with a doctor.
Users can add notes, feeling (good, normal, bad) and meal tags (before, after, fasting, snacks, bedtime) to each measurement collected by the app. All data stored in MedM Health Cloud is encrypted and protected from unauthorized access. Users can set reminders for making measurements and/or taking medication. MedM Premium Members can additionally sync the recorded TN’G blood glucose readings with Apple Health and Google's Health Connect, as well as share access to their health record with other trusted users, such as family members or caregivers. Premium Members can also set thresholds for every measurement type, and opt in to receive notifications when such thresholds are violated.

How to Connect ForaCare TNG with MedM App
- Open the app menu -> select My Devices -> tap Add Device
- Press and release the Main button on your Fora TN’G, wait for “M” to appear on the display. Press the Main button again.
- If the meter shows "---" - it will turn off automatically to enter the Bluetooth mode. Otherwise, press and hold Main button to turn off the meter and switch on Bluetooth.
- Once the app discoveres the Fora TN’G unit - select it, configure device settings, and tap Add to My Devices
- Upon successful pairing a corresponding popup will appear
- The paired Fora TN’G will be listed on the My Devices screen
- Make a measurement on the Fora TN’G to collect new data in the app
Please note that the app has to be running in foreground or background (configurable in settings) to receive new readings from the Fora TN’G.
